When I was a child, I went to Sainte-Lucie every summer with my family to my grand-parents' cottage… and in the fall we said goodbye until the following spring. My wife and I are Canadians whose work took them to live in the United States. When I was a child, I spent my Christmases at Tremblant, and I dreamed of one day treating my wife and children to Christmases like mine used to be. Having a cottage built in the Laurentians from our home in Atlanta seemed an insurmountable challenge, but we were put in contact with Benoit, from Rayben, and he reassured us that it was possible. We had another problem to solve: the cottage had to be ready to live in upon our arrival, as we did not want to waste any time shopping to furnish our vacation home. While keeping us informed at every step, Benoit found us a decorator and a landscaper – he even booked the moving truck that was to bring some of our belongings from the United States. On D Day, we opened the door to our “cabin”, and I must say we all cried… tears of joy. It was the Holiday season, all was ready for us, and a Christmas tree was even waiting to be decorated by the children. My family now has its own memories of Christmas in the Laurentians.
